Privacy Policy

At Patrolypas Inversiones S.A.S. ("Patrolypas") we protect your personal information in accordance with Ecuador's Organic Personal Data Protection Act (LOPDP), its Regulation and the guidance issued by the Superintendence for Personal Data Protection. This document explains what data we handle, the purposes for which we use it and what your rights are.
1. Data controller
Patrolypas Inversiones S.A.S., tax ID 1793241870001, registered office at Av. de los Shyris N37-65 and El Telégrafo, Renazzo Plaza Building, Floor 8, Office 802, Quito, Ecuador, is the controller of your personal data. For any inquiry, please write to privacy@patrolypas.com.
2. Data we collect
Identification data (full name, national ID or passport, email, phone), transactional data related to your activity on the platform, browsing data (IP address, device, cookies) and, where applicable, financial data required by anti-money laundering rules.
3. Purposes of processing
We process your data to: (a) verify your identity and comply with anti-money laundering rules; (b) provide our platform services; (c) send you commercial communications, where you have provided explicit consent; (d) comply with legal and contractual obligations; (e) improve the security and performance of patrolypas.com.
4. Legal basis
The legal bases for processing are the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, the explicit consent of the data subject and Patrolypas' legitimate interest.
5. Retention
We keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the stated purposes and, afterwards, during the statutory limitation periods (up to ten years for financial information, as required by Ecuadorian law).
6. Recipients
We do not sell your data. We may share it with technology providers, financial institutions, legal advisors, external auditors and competent authorities, always within the LOPDP framework.
7. International transfers
Some technology providers are located outside Ecuador. Whenever an international transfer takes place, we require adequate safeguards in line with article 56 of the LOPDP.
8. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, portability and limitation of processing by writing to privacy@patrolypas.com. You can also file a complaint with the Superintendence for Personal Data Protection of Ecuador.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, periodic audits and ongoing training for staff that handles personal data.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version will always be published on patrolypas.com, showing the date of the latest change.
